In association with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Angel Capital Association, the MIT Club of Wisconsin is pleased to present an Enter-prise Forum satellite broadcast designed to help entrepreneurs better under-stand the rising impact of angel groups.
The event will be held at the Pyle Center at 702 Langdon Street in Madison and will begin at 6:00 PM. The doors open at 5:30 PM and there will be light hors d’oeuvres prior to the event.
Some of the issues that will be covered include how entrepreneurs can gain ac-cess to angel investors and why angel investors are turning to organized asso-ciations, like the Angel Capital Association, to better support research and edu-cation, and pool their resources.
Featured speakers include:
Ed Roberts, MIT Sloan School of Management Professor and Founder of the MIT Entrepreneurship Center,
James Geshwiler, Chairman of the Angel Capital Association and Man-aging Director of CommonAngels,
Dan Roach (moderator), of Brown & Brown LLP,
Jeffrey Sohl, Director of the Center for Venture Research and Professor of Entrepreneurship and Decision Sciences at the University of New Hampshire, and
Jerry Schaufeld, a member of numerous angel investor groups.
After the broadcast there will be a live panel discussion of Wisconsin-based angel investors.
This event is FREE, through the generous sponsorship of the Madison law firm of Lathrop & Clark, LLP, and open to the public.
Even though there is no charge, seating is limited. To ensure that we have sufficient seating for all who wish to attend, please register by clicking on the following link:
