Army ROTC cadets commissioned as officers at St. Norbert College

DE PERE, WIS.: The following St. Norbert College students will be commissioned as second lieutenants in the United States Army during ceremonies to be held in the Fort Howard Theater, Bemis International Center, Saturday, May 17, at 3 p.m.

Nicholas Keller of Gurnee, Ill., is commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army as an active-duty engineer officer. Upon commissioning, he will attend the Engineer Basic Officer Leaders Course at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. He will then continue on to Fort Richardson, Alaska, assigned to the 2nd Engineer Brigade.

Valerie Rucinski of Rice Lake, Wis., is commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army as an active-duty finance officer. Upon successful completion of her Basic Officer Leaders Course at Fort Jackson, S.C., she will be assigned to the 266th Finance Command, Kaiserslautern, Germany.
