GREEN BAY/LA CROSSE — Rachael Cochart’s nearly 20 years of healthcare leadership experience began with a generous offer and an open door.
While pursuing her Master of Health Care Administration and working as a hospital Registrar and Biller, Rachael’s leader put out a simple ask to department heads across the organization: Did anyone want a free intern? Compliance was the team that said yes. “I absolutely loved it starting on day one,” Rachael recalls.
Emplify Health is thrilled to announce that Rachael is joining the organization as the new Vice President of Compliance and Privacy on June 29. Throughout her career, Rachael has successfully navigated complex regulatory environments, managed enterprise-wide compliance strategies, and fostered cultures of transparency and teamwork.
“I was especially inspired by Emplify Health’s commitment to empathy, community, and collaboration,” Rachael says. “It’s clear that this is an organization that values both excellence and human connection. I’ve always believed that our core functions in compliance and privacy are ultimately about people—building trust, protecting our patients, and supporting our teams to do the right thing in a very thoughtful and compassionate way.”
Prior to joining Emplify Health, Rachael served as the System Director of Compliance and Hospital Chief Compliance Officer at Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS). She holds a Master of Health Care Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration & Management. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds certifications in Healthcare Compliance and Professional Coding.
A native of Northeast Wisconsin, Rachael is deeply committed to people and community. Emplify Health is proud to welcome Rachael as the organization continues its mission to provide outstanding, patient-centered care and human connection.
