Wisconsin Historical Society: Circus World announces two can’t-miss summer events

BARABOO, Wis. – Circus World is gearing up for two unforgettable summer events! As the site celebrates 67 years of sharing circus magic, Anniversary Days bring the best deal of the year on July 1-4 with special discounted admission for visitors. Keep the magic going and join us for Wagons & Wine on Aug. 18, a memorable evening featuring local wine tastings as guests marvel at beautifully restored circus wagons on display throughout the picturesque grounds.

Circus World is celebrating 67 years of wonder with a spectacular birthday deal: admission is just $6 on any of the four Anniversary Days! Guests can step under the Big Top for Jubilee 250!, an upbeat, up-close adventure featuring aerialists, jugglers, acrobats, adorable animal performers and plenty of stars and spangles. Wagons & Wine | Aug. 18

Historic wagons meet delicious local wines during Circus World’s enchanting Wagons & Wine event. Stroll through the grounds as 12 beautifully restored circus wagons transform into tasting stations featuring signature selections from Wisconsin wineries. Guests can also enjoy live entertainment, mesmerizing music and tempting treats available for purchase throughout the evening. Circus World is one of the Wisconsin Historical Society’s 12 historic sites and museums. Located at the site of the Ringling Bros. Circus Historic Winter Quarters in Baraboo, it was comprised of less than an acre of land and a collection of six circus wagons at its founding and has grown into an internationally respected institution encompassing 64 acres, 30 permanent structures, and 260 wagons and historic vehicles.
