Carroll University broke ground on the Sullivan School of Business, Engineering and Technology, a transformative new facility designed to prepare the next generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, engineers, and technology leaders for the rapidly evolving workforce. The building will bring together disciplines including business strategy, computer science, artificial intelligence, aviation science, drone technology, and emerging engineering fields to help address growing regional and national demand for professionals.
Designed for collaboration and discovery, the $32 million, 55,000 square foot facility will give students access to cutting-edge learning spaces including an innovation center, engineering laboratory, 300-seat auditorium, offices, outdoor classroom space, and informal gathering areas. The new School is one of the largest academic investments in Carroll University’s history and serves as a centerpiece of the University’s $52.5 million investment in campus facilities.
Designed by Kahler Slater, an award-winning international architecture, interior design, environmental branding, and advisory services firm, the project will be delivered in partnership with VJS Construction Services. Construction is anticipated to be completed and open to students in 2028.
