Dodgeville, WI – The Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council has opened registration for its 6th Annual Sustainable Business Conference. Once again, The Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council welcomes the Wisconsin business community to come together for a direct business-to-business exchange of sustainability ideas and actions.

The Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council has been hosting an annual conference for the past five years dedicated to creating a forum for businesses to discuss sustainability ideas and challenges. The concept is to facilitate an environment for open dialogue between businesses and provide resources to help businesses on their path toward becoming more sustainable.

This year, the conference will be held at Lands’ End Corporate Campus in Dodgeville on Friday December 13th from 7:45 am- 3:30 pm. The conference theme will be “Shades of Green” – incorporating the idea that businesses are found all along of spectrum of sustainability. Through 10 breakout sessions, business speakers will address; environmental management systems, waste minimization and elimination, employee engagement, engaging your supply chain, developing sustainability partnerships, branding sustainability, and product innovation processes.

Tom Eggert, Executive Director of the WI Sustainable Business Council, said, “Sustainability is about innovation and collaboration. It is about creating business opportunity and positioning. It is about leadership. Sustainability means saving time and money, gaining reputation and customers, enhancing employee well-being, slashing turnover rates, and planning beyond the quarterly report. In short, sustainability is about running a successful business. Join hundreds of WI businesses at this year’s conference.”
