SCHILLINGER TO LEAVE WISCONSIN PAPER COUNCIL

NEENAH –The Wisconsin Paper Council announced today that President Pat Schillinger has resigned effective April 13, 2007, to take a position in the energy industry. Schillinger has led the Paper Council for five years.

“It’s been an honor to serve as President of the Wisconsin Paper Council and to be the industry’s voice,” Schillinger said. “I have the deepest respect for the paper industry and for the economic impact they have on this state,” he said. “Together we have accomplished a lot, and the Paper Council is positioned stronger than ever to continue being the industry’s leader on the issues and challenges it faces,” he said.

Prior to working at the Paper Council, Schillinger, 39, was Vice President of Government Affairs and General Counsel at the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. He also worked as a policy advisor to Governor Tommy Thompson for three years.

“I am excited to join Integrys Energy and to become part of a dynamic and growing business,” Schillinger said. “This is a wonderful opportunity to work for a well-respected and long-established company in Wisconsin. “My new position will allow me to expand my responsibilities in public affairs to other states and Washington, D.C.”

Schillinger received his Bachelors Degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and his law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He resides in De Pere with his wife and two children.

“We’re very pleased to add Pat to our team,” said Integrys Executive Vice President Tom Meinz. “Quite frankly, with the growth of our company in the past year, we need to expand our public affairs efforts in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan. Having worked with Pat for years, we know he will do a fine job for us.”

Schillinger will begin his duties at Integrys Energy on April 16, 2007.
