Monday Sept. 12 is the 11th Annual Bob Herzog Alumni Scholarship Golf Classic at Meadowbrook Country Club in Racine. It’s best ball, $250 per golfer, which includes an 11: 15 a.m. lunch and 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. Hole sponsorship is $300. More information is available at 414-456-4781.
This is an incredibly worthy cause. All proceeds go to support the Medical College of Wisconsin Scholarship Program which helps provide scholarships to medical school for young people who could not otherwise afford the educational opportunity. I understand that it’s not a disease-related cause, but it certainly goes to educating the people we desperately need to cure those diseases.
