Firm Announces Five Attorneys Promoted to Partnership in Milwaukee

Foley & Lardner LLP announced that five of the firm’s senior counsel have been elected to partnership in the Milwaukee office. The new partners in the Milwaukee office are:

Scott D. Anderson is a registered patent attorney in the firm’s Mechanical & Electromechanical Technologies and Green Energy Technologies Practices, and Food Industry Team. Mr. Anderson counsels clients on a wide variety of intellectual property issues, including creating and managing a patent strategy and portfolio; conducting intellectual property due diligence; assessing and managing patent enforcement actions and risk; and preparing intellectual property agreements. Mr. Anderson has worked with manufacturers and investment firms in a wide variety of technical disciplines, ranging from software and Internet applications, medical devices, food products and packaging, clean/green technologies, and other consumer, commercial, industrial, or investment products and services.

Jeffrey S. Gundersen is a registered patent attorney in the Mechanical & Electromechanical Technologies Practice at Foley & Lardner LLP. Mr. Gundersen provides counseling relating to patent acquisition and enforcement, product design, and patent infringement matters and prepares intellectual property agreements, patent opinions, and due diligence opinions. He also counsels multi-national companies regarding global patent prosecution strategies, including patent acquisition methodologies and patent portfolio coordination.

Robert J. Heinrich is a member of the firm’s Finance & Financial Institutions Practice. He concentrates his practice in representing issuers, hedge funds, underwriters and commercial banks in securitization transactions and other types of structured financings. He has experience with a wide variety of financial assets (including trade receivables, auto loans and leases, equipment chattel paper, health care receivables and student loans) and with the negotiation and delivery of true sale and non-consolidation legal opinions. In addition, he regularly advises public and private borrowers in structuring, documenting and administering commercial lending transactions.

Jessica S. Lochmann is a member of the firm’s Transactional & Securities Practice. Ms. Lochmann practices general corporate and business law, with an emphasis in securities law, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Lochmann regularly advises clients regarding state and federal securities law compliance and corporate governance matters, assists clients with the preparation and review of Securities Exchange Act filings, advises clients regarding compliance with NYSE and Nasdaq listing requirements, and represents public and private acquirers and targets in mergers and acquisitions transactions. Ms. Lochmann also represents issuers in securities transactions, including initial and secondary public offerings of equity securities and public and private placements of debt securities.

Bartholomew F. Reuter is a member of the Insurance and Reinsurance Litigation Practice and the Insurance Industry Team. His practice focuses on insurance regulatory, coverage, and corporate transactional matters.
