MADISON, Wis. (9/15/2009) – Strang, Inc. is pleased to announce Larry Barton, AIA, LEED AP has been named President.

Larry has been with Strang for 25 years, designing corporate office, science and technology, higher education, healthcare, municipal, and religious facilities. His background encompasses master planning, remodeling, additions, and new building design and project oversight. Larry’s projects include: Alliant Energy Center Exhibition Hall, City Center West, Culver’s New Home Office, CUNA Mutual Group, Madison Area Technical College, Monona State Bank, University of Wisconsin System, UW Health, more than 20 churches and numerous projects for the cities of Middleton and Madison.

He is a licensed architect and a LEED Accredited Professional. Larry is active in numerous professional and community organizations including the International Facility Management Association and Madison Area Technical College Foundation Board of Directors.

Larry will become the firm’s fifth president in 75 years.
