Milwaukee – Momentum in support of ethanol continues to grow. The Wisconsin Ethanol Coalition today announced seven new partners in the effort to promote ethanol in Wisconsin.
Labor unions joining the coalition today included: Wisconsin Pipe Trades Association and the United Association of Plumbers and Steamfitters – Local 434.
Agricultural organizations joining the coalition today included: the Wisconsin Farmers Union, the Wisconsin Soybean Association, the Wisconsin Agribusiness Council, and the Wisconsin Crop Production Association.
Manufacturing groups joining the coalition today included: Apache Stainless Equipment Corporation.
“Ethanol is good for the state and good for the working men and women of Wisconsin for many reasons,” said Joshua Morby, spokesman for the Wisconsin Ethanol Coalition. “We hope that Wisconsin will pursue a renewable energy policy that provides ethanol as a fuel choice.”
