Green Bay, Wisconsin — The Dairy Business Association will announce the winner of their 2010 DBA Environmental Excellence Award during World Dairy Expo. The award was created to recognize one producer each year that chooses to go above and beyond the environmental standards to improve the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the land we utilize. Said honoree has also demonstrated their desire to share such improvements and strategies with others.
“DBA knows that Wisconsin farmers work hard to implement practices to ensure the safety of the environment, their communities and their animals every day. I commend all of the applicants for their innovative solutions to improving the environment,” said DBA Executive Director Laurie Fischer.
Please join us when we present the award to the winner on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Waubesa Room in the Alliant Energy Center. All are invited to attend.
