DEADLINE APPROACHING FOR WISCONSIN BUSINESSES TO JOIN THE 2026 GREEN MASTERS PROGRAM®
Eagle, WI – Wisconsin businesses looking to strengthen their sustainability efforts, improve business performance, and gain recognition for their leadership have until September 30 to apply for recognition through the Sustainable Business Council’s (SBC) Green Masters Program® . For more than 15 years, the Green Masters Program® has helped organizations assess performance, identify priorities, benchmark against peers, and build systems that support continuous improvement. As customers, supply chains, investors, and regulators increasingly request sustainability information, the certification and recognition program provides a practical framework to help businesses prepare, respond, and compete in today’s business climate.
“Today’s businesses are being asked more frequently to provide information about their sustainability practices, environmental impacts, workforce initiatives, and governance policies,” said Jessy Servi Ortiz, Executive Director of SBC. “The Green Masters Program helps organizations understand where they stand today, build the systems needed to track and manage performance, and be prepared to respond confidently to customer, supply chain and compliance-related requests.”
Stay Ahead of Customer and Compliance Expectations
Sustainability reporting and disclosure requests are becoming increasingly common across supply chains and procurement processes. The Green Masters Program® helps organizations establish the policies, goals, documentation, and performance metrics needed to respond to customer inquiries, supplier requirements, and evolving regulatory expectations.
By developing a strong sustainability foundation today, businesses can reduce risk, improve resilience, and position themselves for future opportunities.
Strengthen Business Performance
The Green Masters Program® helps organizations identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve operational efficiency, manage risk, strengthen employee engagement, and uncover cost savings. Participants gain access to benchmarking, real-time scoring, and practical guidance that supports informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Organizations can use these insights to prioritize investments, demonstrate progress, and create business value while advancing sustainability goals.
Join Wisconsin’s Leading Network of Sustainable Business Leaders
The Green Masters Program® is more than an assessment and recognition program. It serves as a gateway to Wisconsin’s leading community of sustainability professionals and business leaders.
Through SBC membership, organizations gain access to peer learning, networking opportunities, leadership development, educational programming, and practical resources that help them navigate changing market expectations, customer requirements, and sustainability challenges.
“Businesses don’t have to navigate these challenges alone,” said Servi Ortiz. “Through SBC, organizations gain access to a trusted network of peers and experts who share ideas, solve problems together, and help one another succeed.”
Whether your organization is just beginning its sustainability journey or refining a mature strategy, the Green Masters Program® and SBC membership provide the tools, connections, and support needed to improve business performance, meet stakeholder expectations, and build long-term resilience.
