UnitedHealthcare has named Tom Kunst CEO of its Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin health plans, expanding his current role as CEO of Illinois.
Kunst brings more than 30 years of experience with UnitedHealthcare, beginning his career in Illinois small group sales in 1994. He has held leadership roles across sales, account management and regional operations, serving employers, members, providers and other stakeholders throughout the Midwest.
As CEO of the three-state region, Kunst will help strengthen UnitedHealthcare’s efforts to meet the evolving needs of brokers, employers, members and providers while continuing to support access to quality health coverage and care solutions across Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin.
