Crowley campaign: Democratic nominee for governor David Crowley discusses expanding healthcare for Wisconsinites at Madison clinic

MADISON, Wis. – Today, County Executive David Crowley, Democratic nominee for governor, discussed his plan to expand healthcare for Wisconsinites in Madison at the Joyce and Marshall Erdman Clinic. Crowley was joined by community leaders working to improve access to healthcare for Wisconsin families.

Every day, this organization serves their community by providing a range of services, including maternal care, mental health support, and taking care of sick kids. This work is more critical for working families than ever. Congressman Tiffany has spent his nearly 20 years in politics trying to defund healthcare centers like the one I visited today, and we cannot trust him to support the healthcare needs of Wisconsin’s working families,” said Democratic gubernatorial nominee David Crowley.

Crowley’s healthcare plan includes expanding BadgerCare so more Wisconsin families can access affordable coverage, implementing a No Wrong Door model of care statewide, and investing in healthy kids, families, and communities by keeping care local and properly funded.
