Divergent Family Law, a Wisconsin law firm, has awarded Haley Vance, a graduate of Case High School in Racine, a $500 scholarship. She’ll be applying that scholarship towards her attendance at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Awarding this scholarship is part of Divergent Family Law’s ongoing commitment to the communities they serve and supporting families of all sizes, structures, and backgrounds.
“Family law is about more than legal matters. It’s about people navigating some of life’s transitions that impact their most important relationships. This scholarship gives students an opportunity to reflect on the influence family dynamics have played in their lives,” says Tom Grieve, Divergent Family Law’s CEO and Founder.
In her essay, Vance discusses how stable and positive home environments help shape individuals and overcome obstacles. Her own family dynamic cultivated a “strong sense of purpose and a desire to give back.”
Divergent Family Law offers an annual scholarship to graduating high school seniors or college students of any year. To apply, students must submit their transcripts, submit a 500 word essay on how family dynamics shape their personal growth, and meet the scholarship requirements concerning enrollment and GPA.
