Appleton International Airport: ATW honored by WI National Guard

(Appleton, Wis.) June 29, 2026— Appleton International Airport (ATW) officials were recognized by the Wisconsin National Guard for meritorious service during the redeployment of the 2nd Battalion, 127th Infantry Regiment. The honor cites the planning and hospitality that ensured a safe and dignified welcome home for over 600 returning soldiers when they arrived at the Appleton Flight Center. The citation honored ATW staff members for the highest ideals of community partnership.
