MADISON, WI — Cambridge Winery, a premier boutique winery in Southern Wisconsin, proudly
announces it has been awarded six more medals at recent major wine competitions, bringing its 2026
total to nine medals. These accolades highlight the winery’s dedication to producing exceptional, high-
quality wines from 100% Wisconsin-grown cold-climate grapes.
The winery secured top honors across a diverse selection of its portfolio, showcasing its versatility and
excellence in both white and red winemaking. The standout performers leading the six-medal haul
include:
- 2024 Marquette Reserve (Gold Medal): A robust, estate-style cold-climate red recognized for its
complex structure and smooth finish. - 2024 Snazzberry (Gold Medal): A unique, full-bodied Wisconsin red crafted from Petite Pearl grapes
that delivers bright, lush fruit notes. - 2024 Brianna (Gold Medal): A semi-sweet white wine with a tropical bouquet and rich flavor profile of
honey and tropical fruits. - 2024 Itasca (Silver Medal): A dry white wine recently introduced by the University of Minnesota to cold
climate grape growers, boasting light, delicate flavors and a clean finish. - 2023 St. Pepin (Silver Medal): A celebrated, crisp white wine featuring vibrant notes of green apple and
citrus. - 2023 Marquette Reserve (Bronze Medal): An earlier vintage of our wonderful Marquette wine, grown
locally in Cambridge, Wisconsin.
These six wines complement three other medal winners awarded earlier in 2026, in which a silver medal
was awarded for 2024 St. Pepin and bronze medals awarded for Marquette Reserve and Cambridge
Rosé. In all, the Cambridge Winery is nine-for-nine in medal competition in 2026, and 25 of 27 in its
history.
“We have long held the belief that our wines are among the best being produced in Wisconsin and the
Upper Midwest”, said Frank Peregrine, owner. “The results from these competitions validate our
opinion as confirmed by judges across the USA.”
