GREEN BAY, Wis. — American Airlines is expanding service at Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport this fall with a series of special flights tied to major professional football games at Lambeau Field.
The additional flights will provide convenient nonstop access for visiting fans traveling to Green Bay for several marquee matchups during the 2026 football season.
American Airlines announced the following special flights at GRB:
- Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) to Green Bay (GRB) on Oct. 17, with return service Oct. 19
- Charlotte (CLT) to Green Bay (GRB) on Oct. 29, with return service Oct. 30
- Buffalo (BUF) to Green Bay (GRB) on Dec. 12, with return service Dec. 14
- Houston (IAH) to Green Bay (GRB) on Jan. 4, with return service Jan. 5
“These additional flights demonstrate the tremendous national demand for travel to Green Bay during football season and reinforce the important role GRB plays in supporting regional tourism and economic activity,” said Airport Director Marty Piette. “Our longstanding partnership with American Airlines continues to create opportunities for visitors to experience Northeast Wisconsin while delivering added convenience for travelers and fans alike.”
The added service is part of American Airlines’ largest-ever football travel schedule, with expanded flights supporting games across the country throughout the season. This expansion also comes on the heals of additional non-stop routes added by Delta Air Lines earlier this year from LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and Reagan National Airport (DCA) for the Wisconsin-Notre Dame showdown at Lambeau Field in September.
“Special event flights like these create a meaningful economic impact throughout Brown County and the greater Northeast Wisconsin region,” said Troy Streckenbach. “From hotels and restaurants to transportation and entertainment, visitors traveling through GRB contribute directly to local businesses. We appreciate the strong partnership between American Airlines and GRB that helps make these opportunities possible.”
Flight schedules are expected to be available for booking through American Airlines beginning next week on the airline’s website and mobile app.
