NORTHEAST WISCONSIN – Registration is now open for the 16 th annual edition of Insight Publications’ Manufacturing First Expo & Conference, Wisconsin’s largest manufacturing conference, which returns to Resch Expo in Green Bay Wednesday, Oct. 28. Registration and more information is available at manufacturingfirst.com.
Wisconsin native Phil Gwoke — a writer, market researcher and CEO of the company BridgeWorks —
will deliver this year’s keynote address, “Leading Across Generations,” to kick off the event. Gwoke and his firm specialize in bridging the generational divide, which has consistently been cited as a top business challenge for Northeast Wisconsin manufacturers. The keynote is designed to provide tools and insights for navigating diverse leadership responsibilities among baby boomers, Gen X, millennials and Gen Z.
Each generation brings strengths, Gwoke says, and at BridgeWorks there is a focus not just on what makes generations different, but why they differ.
“When it comes down to our distinction at BridgeWorks, we talk about the strengths of each generation. You’re going to feel proud to be a part of the generation, whatever it is. You’re going to feel good about your generational experience,” Gwoke said of his work and forthcoming keynote. “It’s going to be practical; it’s going to be insightful; and you’re gonna laugh. It will be fun.”
Following the morning keynote, attendees will be able to explore more than 200 booths on the expo floor with exhibits, networking and the chance to win prizes. There will also be more than a dozen breakout sessions on four educational tracks that include workforce and culture; risk, safety and compliance; talent development; and growth, technology and innovation.
As always, the event is hosted in partnership with the Northeast Wisconsin Manufacturing Alliance (NEWMA) and presented by First Business Bank.
“This event is more than just a learning experience; it’s also a celebration of manufacturing, which is the backbone of business and industry in Northeast Wisconsin,” said Angela O’Kray, Insight publisher. “We consistently receive tremendous feedback on Manufacturing First as it has grown over the last 15 years, and none of that growth would be possible without consistent support from the community.” Exhibitor and sponsorship opportunities are available by contacting sales@insightonbusiness.com or
your Insight Publications account executive. Manufacturing First is an opportunity to reach more than 1,000 business and manufacturing leaders from across not only the 18-county New North region, but all of Wisconsin. Through Insight’s partnership with NEWMA, the event also attracts more than 300 high school students each year to learn about manufacturing careers.
The early-bird registration rate of $125 is available now through Aug. 3 at manufacturingfirst.com. New this year is a special “exhibit hall only” pass for $75. Exhibitor booths are also available now, starting at $950.
