FOX CITIES, Wis. (April 8, 2026) – Golfers of all experience levels are invited to hit the course this season as the Fox Cities Chamber hosts two unique golf outings, in addition to the already sold out Summer Golf Outing, that are designed for connection, fun, and community impact.
The new Women’s 9-Hole Golf Outing takes place Thursday, August 20, from 12 to 5 p.m. at Ridgeway Country Club. This fun afternoon blends golf, wellness, and meaningful connection in a welcoming, low-pressure environment—whether participants have played for years or are picking up a club for the first time.
The outing begins with a warm welcome and a refreshing mocktail, followed by a relaxed, team-style nine-hole round focused on camaraderie over competition. With a “no scorecards, just smiles” approach, golfers will play in groups of four, choosing the best shot and encouraging one another throughout the course. The event also features unique elements like a welcome lounge with golf and networking tips, a confidence reset bar, and an intention wall.
Following play, participants will enjoy a reception featuring hors d’oeuvres and inspiring conversation with local women leaders. The event concludes with an empowerment toast, raffles, and time to reflect and connect.
Cost for the Women’s Golf Outing is $125 (member price) per person or $500 for a member foursome. Non-members can also attend for $150 per person or $600 per foursome.

In September, the Chamber’s 18-hole Octoberfest Golf Outing returns with a lively, themed experience that offers a preview of Appleton’s beloved Octoberfest celebration. The outing will take place at High Cliff Golf and Event Center on Thursday, September 10, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Each year, nearly 100 nonprofits benefit from funds raised through Octoberfest and its related events, including the golf outing. Participation as a golfer or sponsor helps ensure continued support for these organizations across the Fox Cities.
The four-person scramble begins with a celebratory toast, with beer samples available along the course featuring Octoberfest ales. Golfers can also take part in themed games and are encouraged to dress the part for a chance to be named a “Lederhosen Legend,” with prizes awarded to the best-dressed team. The day concludes with a post-golf reception.
Cost for the Octoberfest Golf Outing is $500 per foursome for Chamber members and $600 for nonmembers.
