MADISON, WI—Internationally best-selling author and marketing professor Jonah Berger will deliver the keynote address at The Alliance 2026 Spring Symposium on April 15 at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center in Madison, Wis.
The gathering of employers, benefit leaders and healthcare innovators is focused on strategies to improve healthcare affordability and value.
Berger, a professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, is widely recognized for his research on influence, behavior change and why ideas spread. He is the author of several bestselling books, including The Catalyst, Magic Words, Contagious and Invisible Influence.
During his keynote presentation, Berger will discuss how organizations can drive meaningful change by identifying and removing the barriers that often prevent people from adopting new ideas or behaviors. Rather than pushing harder for change, Berger’s research suggests that lasting transformation happens when resistance is reduced.
Recognized globally for his work on influence and consumer behavior, Berger has published more than 80 academic articles and teaches one of the world’s most popular online marketing courses. His research is frequently featured in outlets such as The New York Times and Harvard Business Review.
Berger has advised and consulted for major organizations including Apple, Google, Nike and Amazon.
