HRG: Marks two milestones with IN.depth independent pharmacy publication

Waukesha, Wisconsin, February 24, 2026 — HRG’s premiere publication for independent retail pharmacies, IN.depth, has reached two milestones: its fifteenth year of circulation and it is now available in digital format.

Developed to provide health, beauty, and wellness manufacturers an opportunity to share messaging directly to pharmacy staff, as well as be a vehicle for HRG retail experts to offer tips, insights, and actions to maximize front-end sales, the publication has become a trusted resource to these important frontline healthcare providers. IN.depth has a circulation of 10,000 locations.

Published monthly, IN.depth, focuses on a few health, beauty, and wellness categories in each Category Spotlight issue. Twice a year, Product Sampler is dedicated to product samples, providing pharmacies a chance to try, or let their customers test items they may not have otherwise had access to.

To commemorate the anniversary, the publication color scheme and layout was updated to modernize and make it simpler to utilize. Product segments and story titles are featured right on the cover for quick reference; business-building insights and front-end strategies are now at the front of each issue; and the Order Guide and Resources have been combined on one page for easy access.

Although pharmacists value having the printed copy of IN.depth at their fingertips for easy reference, having a digital copy online offers the convenience of a single place where the most recent 12 months of issues reside. The flipbook is hosted on the HRG website and the page where it is accessed also includes easy-to-use links for additional education, IN.depth Sampler sign-up, and in some cases, direct connection to participating brands via their advertisement.

HRG surveys IN.depth readers semi-annually to understand what they find of most value and provide direct feedback to the manufacturers who participate in Product Sampler issues.
