Families Can Find Information on MPS Schools, Programs, and Literacy Initiative, and Enroll Their Children
(MILWAUKEE) — The second of two Milwaukee Public Schools Kindergarten Enrollment Fairs will take place Saturday, February 21, at North Division High School, where families can find the right school for their kindergartners and enroll.
School staff will be available to talk with families, and learning stations at this year’s fair will highlight Montessori education, a traditional kindergarten classroom, the district’s literacy initiative, music and more. Each station will have hands-on activities for children and information for families.
Who: Dr. Gabriela Bell Jiménez, MPS Academic Superintendent for literacy, will be available for interviews. Other senior MPS staff also will be available for interviews.
When: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 21.
Where: North Division High School, 1011 W. Center St.
Children can be enrolled in kindergarten for the fall anytime through March 2, 2026. Families who fill out the enrollment form by March 2 have the best opportunity at their first-choice school. More information about enrollment and an online enrollment form are at mpsmke.com/kindergarten.
