FOX CITIES, Wis. (February 6, 2026) – The Fox Cities Chamber has announced the 10 recipients of the 2026 Excellence in Education Awards.
This year’s recipients, chosen from among more than 250 nominees, are:
- Christopher Choudoir, Science, Career Pathways Academy
- Stephanie Halverson, Family & Consumer Sciences, Hortonville High School
- Elly Hixon, Elementary Education, New Directions Learning Community Elementary School
- Amy Mueller, Special Education, Seymour High School
- Yvonne Mullen, Elementary Education, Huntley Elementary
- Nicholas Rankin, Science, Little Chute High School
- Tim Roehrig, Social Studies, Kaukauna High School
- Kathryn Rosenbaum, Teacher for the Visually Impaired, Appleton West High School
- Matthew Van Thiel, Science, Little Chute Intermediate/Middle School
- Amanda Voss, Elementary Education, Fox River Academy

The honorees were selected by a volunteer panel of Fox Cities education professionals. They will be formally recognized and receive their awards at the Chamber’s Excellence in Education Awards program at DoubleTree by Hilton, Neenah, on Thursday, March 12.
