Green Bay, WI – Jan. 27, 2026 – While the NFL season heads towards Championship Sunday, Green Bay Packers quarterback and NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee Jordan Love is still focused on making an impact off the field. Love will be donating nearly 2,000 pairs of Nike cleats to local youth sports teams as part of his ‘10ve for Cleats’ campaign, presented by U.S. Venture.
At the beginning of the NFL season, Love pledged to donate new cleats to a youth sports team in Wisconsin and to a youth sports team in his hometown, Bakersfield, California, for every touchdown he scored—passing and rushing. The campaign was called 10ve for Cleats and tied Love’s impact on the football field to his ever-growing impact in the community. Fans could follow along on Love’s Hands of 10ve Foundation’s Instagram for updates on how many touchdowns—and cleats—Love was racking up, and sports teams were encouraged to apply to receive cleats on the foundation’s website, handsof10ve.org.
Love scored 23 touchdowns during the regular season, and his Hands of 10ve Foundation selected the following 46 teams from nearly 200 applications to receive new cleats through 10ve for Cleats:

This is the second year of Love’s 10ve for Cleats campaign. Last year, with the help of corporate partner U.S. Venture and sports marketing agency Capture Sports & Entertainment, Love and his foundation donated over 1,300 cleats to 26 Wisconsin sports teams.
“Watching this campaign grow—and bringing it to Bakersfield, my hometown—has been incredibly special,” said Love. “It’s about reaching more kids and helping them just focus on the game.”
This year, Love’s foundation received 169 applications from teams in Bakersfield as well as teams from 74 different cities across the state of Wisconsin—proof that no matter the zip code, families are feeling the cost of youth sports.
“Cleats wear out quickly, kids grow fast, and for many parents, replacing cleats every season just isn’t possible,” said one applicant.
The 10ve for Cleats campaign illustrates the impact athletes can have when they partner with community-minded organizations, like U.S. Venture. For 75 years, the company has worked to help end poverty in Northeast Wisconsin.
“At U.S. Venture, we believe in the power of community and the ripple effect that even the smallest acts of kindness can create,” said Eric Kessenich, CEO of U.S. Venture. “Partnering with Jordan Love to help these kids chase their dreams and fuel their passion for sports is a privilege we’re incredibly proud to support.”
The ‘10ve for Cleats’ campaign aligns with Love’s and his foundation’s mission to encourage children from all backgrounds to engage in sports, promoting physical and mental well-being. Hands of 10ve Foundation also works to raise awareness about mental health and suicide prevention, and to foster stronger relationships between law enforcement and the community.
