North Shore Bank, YWCA of Southeast Wisconsin: Join forces to offer access to financial services with new in-house branch

Community bank to relocate MLK branch with YWCA SEW partnership

BROOKFIELD, Wis. – North Shore Bank announced today an innovative partnership with the YWCA of Southeast Wisconsin (SEW) that will increase access to banking and financial education for individuals and families in Southeastern Wisconsin. North Shore Bank will relocate its 1900 N. Dr. Martin Luther King (MLK) Drive branch to a new space inside of the YWCA SEW at 1915 N. Dr. MLK Drive.

“We have had a steadfast commitment to our community here for the past 30 years, and that commitment is only strengthening with this new investment through our partnership with the YWCA of Southeast Wisconsin,” says Susan T. Doyle, senior vice president of retail banking at North Shore Bank.

The new space inside of the YWCA SEW will serve as a fully operational North Shore Bank branch, offering a range of services including deposit accounts, loans, and other financial solutions. A video teller and ATM will also be available for customer use.

“This exciting partnership will create a safe, welcoming space where community members can build confidence and access banking services and top-notch financial education – especially those who may feel intimidated by traditional banking,” says Bregetta Wilson, president and CEO of YWCA SEW. “The investment being made by North Shore Bank will further ensure that the YWCA SEW serves as a powerful educational and economic empowerment hub on Dr. MLK Drive.”

The new branch is set to open in spring 2026. The current branch will remain open until relocation to the YWCA SEW is complete, minimizing service disruption for customers.
