Wolf River Community Bank: Expands employee‑driven culture with annual “Wolfpack Give Back”

Hortonville, WI (January 22, 2026): Wolf River Community Bank is proud to celebrate the second year of its Wolfpack Give Back program, an employee‑directed giving initiative that continues to deepen the bank’s commitment to workplace culture, empowerment, and community connection. The program is carried out each December, giving employees the opportunity to close the year by supporting causes that matter most to them.

In 2025, employees directed over $13,000 to local charities — an increase from the program’s inaugural year of $5,500. That growth was fueled by the bank’s decision to allocate $250 per employee, compared to $100 in 2024. The bank will fund this program annually, with the per‑employee amount varying from year to year.

Program Enhancements for 2026

Beginning this year, Wolf River Community Bank is expanding the Wolfpack Give Back program to give employees even more opportunities to support their chosen charities. Team members may now voluntarily contribute through payroll deduction throughout the year. Employees who contribute $150 or more (approximately $6 per pay period) will be entered into a drawing to receive two additional PTO days for the following year.

All employee‑contributed funds will be added to the bank’s year‑end donations, increasing the total impact delivered to local organizations.

Celebrating Employee Stories

The bank is sharing video stories from employees across its social media channels, offering a closer look at the nonprofits they chose and the missions those organizations advance. These features highlight both the employee’s personal connection and the meaningful work being done by each charity, reinforcing the community‑minded culture the bank holds in its name, Wolf River Community Bank.

A Culture Built Around People

The Wolfpack Give Back program is one of several initiatives designed to strengthen the bank’s employee‑first culture. Wolf River Community Bank continues to invest in employee experiences that support connection, well‑being, and community involvement, including a paid volunteer program, fun‑at‑work activities like dress-up days and Bingo, and Dress for Your Day, which is new in 2026 and offers employees added flexibility in their daily attire.

“We’re grounded in the belief that when we do well, we can do good,” Miranda Schultz, EVP, CFO, COO, who helped initiate both Wolfpack Give Back and the bank’s broader culture‑focused programs. “By empowering employees to choose where these funds go, we’re not only supporting important local work — we’re strengthening the culture of care and community. When we invest in our people, they invest back into the world around them. Our team member initiatives reflect who we are as a bank and the culture we’re intentionally strengthening year after year.”
