Wisconsin Safety Council: Unveils new website

MADISON – Wisconsin Safety Council (WSC), the state’s leading provider of workplace safety training and resources, is proud to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website. The platform is designed to make safety information, training opportunities, and event registration more user-friendly and accessible to businesses and individuals across Wisconsin.

“Our mission is to help make Wisconsin the safest place to live, work, and play” said WSC Executive Director Aaron Huebner. “This new website reflects our commitment to providing easy access to the tools and training businesses need to create safer workplaces.”

Importantly, the refreshed site features better access to registration for safety trainings and WSC’s Annual Safety Conference. WSC hosts dozens of in-person and virtual courses throughout each calendar year, including OSHA classes, Lift Truck Operator training, Industrial Hygiene, Principles of Occupational Safety & Health (POSH), Incident Investigation, and community safety classes such as Alive at 25. WSC’s Annual Safety Conference, held in April each year, is the largest safety industry event in the Midwest, featuring over 50 educational sessions and 200 exhibitors.

The website also includes greater accessibility for the nomination and application process for the annual Workplace Safety Awards program, which highlights Wisconsin companies who lead the way in safety and health.

“The hope is to use this website to equip companies and employees with the tools they need to excel in safety and protect their most valuable assets – their teammates,” Huebner added.

The launch of the new site underscores WSC’s dedication to safety education. Visitors can explore upcoming events and trainings, learn about membership benefits, and access industry-specific safety resources.
