New North, Inc.: Registration available for NEW Construction Alliance annual meeting

Event will offer timely economic/industry insights, strategies to support workplace mental health

NEW NORTH, Dec. 22, 2025 – The Annual Meeting of the NEW Construction Alliance (NEWCA) will be held on January 14, 2026, from 1-5 p.m. The event will highlight the achievements shaping the construction workforce in the New North region, offer timely economic and industry insights, give strategies for supporting mental health in the workplace, and provide opportunities to connect with industry peers and experts.

The keynote address will be given by Josh Rizzo, a nationally recognized speaker on mental health in the workplace. He will explore strategies for creating healthier, more supportive work environments, providing practical tools for fostering resilience, engagement and productivity among employees. A 2002 graduate of the United States Military Academy, Rizzo served as a Captain, leading troops in Iraq in 20025-06, and is a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal. He later co-founded and served as executive director of PTSD United, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting those struggling with post-traumatic stress.

Ryan Long, a regional economist for the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development and research director for New North Inc., also will present on the state of the economy within the construction industry.

The winners of the initial Champions of Construction Awards additionally will be celebrated. A networking reception, enabling connection with industry peers and experts, will conclude the afternoon’s program.

The NEWCA Annual Meeting will be held at Rockwood Terrace, located within Ariens Hill at 1065 Lombardi Ave. in Green Bay.

The Northeast Wisconsin Construction Alliance is an association of employers in the construction trades, which collaborates with educators, workforce and economic development professionals, and governmental bodies to promote careers in the building and construction industry within the New North region.
