Eau Claire, WI – Monday, December 8, 2025 — The Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce announced today that Scott Rogers, Senior Director of Government Affairs, has informed us of his plans to retire from the Chamber effective February 27, 2026.
Scott has served the Eau Claire business community with dedication, professionalism, and integrity for the past 12 years. His leadership of our advocacy efforts—especially initiatives such as Eggs & Issues, the Chippewa Valley Rally, and our local and statewide partnerships—has helped give a strong and united voice to employers throughout the Chippewa Valley.
“In every role, Scott has led with purpose and a genuine passion for helping our region grow stronger,” said Dave Minor, President & CEO of the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce. “We are grateful for his service and excited for him as he begins a new chapter.”
Scott has also notified the Chamber of his intention to run for Eau Claire City Council President in the spring 2026 election. In keeping with the Chamber’s longstanding commitment to nonpartisanship, we will maintain a full separation between Chamber operations and any political activity. This includes clear boundaries regarding campaigning, use of Chamber resources, and participation at Chamber functions. Scott is fully aligned with these expectations.
The Chamber will be developing a transition plan for the Government Affairs portfolio to ensure continuity in our advocacy work. Additional details will be shared in the coming weeks.
