Wisconsin Positioned as National Leader in AI Innovation
October 15, 2025 – Kenosha, Wis. – Wisconsin is taking center stage in the national technology landscape. With Microsoft’s recent announcement of a $4 billion expansion in Racine, bringing their total investment to an unprecedented $7 billion, the state is poised to become a powerhouse for artificial intelligence, innovation and future-ready careers.
To seize this moment, Women in Technology Wisconsin, Inc. (WiT) is partnering with Microsoft to launch AI in Motion, a 5-part event series designed to showcase the transformative power of AI while building the talent pipeline to ensure girls and women are at the forefront of this historic growth. WIT is a nonprofit organization dedicated to attracting, growing, and retaining women of all ages in technology-related careers across all industries.
The series kicks off with Building Our Region’s Future on Wednesday, November 19, from 7:15 am to 12:30 pm at UW-Parkside in Kenosha. Each session will be at a different venue in Southeast Wisconsin. WiT members and nonmembers can attend. Click here to register

- Experience hands-on workshop of Microsoft Copilot to showcase practical AI applications.
- Engage with community and business leaders exploring how AI is fueling economic growth.
