NEW Manufacturing Alliance: Manufacturing First Expo & Conference set for Oct. 29 in Green Bay

Registration closes Oct. 24 for Insight Publications’ 15th annual Manufacturing First Expo & Conference, presented by First Business Bank in collaboration with the Northeast Wisconsin Manufacturing Alliance. The event is set for Oct. 29 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at Resch Expo in Green Bay.

Registration is available online for $175 per person. Admission includes a full day of networking; breakfast; lunch; the opportunity to hear a keynote address by Destination Workplace’s Betsy Allen-Manning; a wide array of educational breakout sessions; and more.

Eleven breakout sessions will cover topics such as using AI for sales, digital tools and automation, information systems for the plant floor, Lean practices, marketing alignment, workers’ compensation, cultural competency, electrical maintenance, rapid prototyping in tooling and facilities master planning.

The annual Power Hour networking session — with prizes — will conclude the event on the expo floor from 1:30-4 p.m., though the expo will be open throughout the day for those looking to make connections. More than 200 high school students will also be on the floor during the morning sessions to participate in special career exploration activities.

On the evening of Oct. 28, the NEW Manufacturing Alliance will present its annual Excellence in Manufacturing/K-12 Partnerships Awards in conjunction with the expo. Dinner and program tickets are available for purchase separately at newmfgalliance.org/events.
