THU Health Care Report: Five Wisconsin hospitals ranked top 10 in Vizient’s Quality and Accountability Study

— Vizient, a health care performance improvement company, included five Froedtert ThedaCare Health hospitals in its national 20th annual Quality and Accountability Study.

Each of the hospitals was ranked in the top 10 in each of their respective categories, with Froedtert West Bend Hospital taking home 1st of 243 entries in the Community Hospital Cohort category. Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital ranked 10th in the same category.

Dr. Imran Andrabi, president and CEO of Froedtert ThedaCare Health, said Vizient’s recognition of their performance affirms “the time, energy and talent our teams devote every day to first-class, personalized clinical care rooted in exceptional safety, high reliability, coordination and accessibility.”

ThedaCare Medical Center–Berlin ranked 3rd of 154 in the Critical Access Hospital Cohort group.

ThedaCare Regional Medical Center–Neenah ranked 5th of 192 in the Large, Specialized Complex Medical Center Cohort category.

ThedaCare Regional Medical Center–Appleton ranked 6th of 209 in the Complex Care Medical Center category.

Dr. Ian Schwartz, chief clinical officer and senior associate dean at the Medical College of Wisconsin, said the recognitions help drive a culture of safety, reliability, improvement and the pursuit of excellence of care.
