Fox Cities, Wis. (September 10, 2025) – The Fox Cities Chamber’s Pulse Young Professionals Network is hosting a Rise & Learn event on Monday, September 15, from 8 – 10 a.m. at Fox Communities Credit Union, 2201 E. Enterprise Avenue, Appleton.
The event will start with time for networking, where participants can sign up to have a professional photo taken by the Chamber’s photographer. Sign up for photos will take place upon arrival, first come first serve. A presentation by motivational speaker and confidence coach Mark H. Plowman will follow, where participants will learn to ‘Lead from Where you Are.’ Plowman’s philosophy is that no matter where you are in your career, using curiosity as your starting space, you will have more than you need to gain ground and gather knowledge to further your influence and impact as a leader. Building curious mindsets builds foundations for future leaders to grow from that will garner bigger benefits than ever before.
During his presentation, Plowman will share his four-part philosophy on leadership. Each part has a non-leadership role mindset, and a currently in leadership mindset. The intention is to inspire those who are not yet leaders and give them something to use once they are a leader. Also, those members in leadership roles can elevate their skills with these new mindsets.
