Residents impacted by August flooding encouraged to stop by for information and help
(Waukesha, WI) – On Thursday, September 11, 2025, Waukesha County, in partnership with local agencies, will open a Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) at the Waukesha County Expo Center to support residents impacted by the historic flooding event in August.
The Multi-Agency Resource Center will be open to the public on Thursday, September 11th from 11a-6pm.
Location: Waukesha County Expo Center, Forum Building North Hall, 1000 Northview Road, Waukesha, WI 53188
The center will bring together numerous organizations under one roof to provide information, and recovery resources. Impacted individuals and families will have the opportunity to connect directly with agencies that can help them navigate the next steps in the recovery process. Residents are not required to bring any damage documentation.
“We know in many communities across the county, residents are still feeling the effects of the devastating August floods,” said County Executive Paul Farrow. “By bringing agencies together at the Expo Center, we are making it easier for people to access the resources and support they need in one convenient location,” Farrow added.
Services available at the MARC may include:
- Disaster case management
- Public health and safety resources
- Counseling and emotional support services
- Volunteer and community assistance programs
