Suburban State Senator’s Anti-LGBTQ+ Extremism and Election Denial Draw Fire
Wisconsin — Agenda PAC, the national political action committee dedicated to defeating anti-LGBTQ+ extremism at every level of government, has named Senator Rob Hutton as its top Wisconsin target in the 50-for-50 campaign—a nationwide effort to unseat the most dangerous and beatable anti-equality officials across the country.
Hutton, who represents Milwaukee’s suburban 5th District, has used his platform to push anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, attack election integrity, and undermine police accountability. From targeting transgender youth to embracing conspiracy theorists, Hutton’s record is now drawing national scrutiny—and putting his political future in serious jeopardy.
“Rob Hutton is everything suburban Wisconsin voters are rejecting—an anti-LGBTQ+ extremist, an election denier, and a loyal foot soldier for the far-right fringe,” said Brian Sims, CEO of Agenda PAC. “Instead of focusing on real issues, Hutton has spent his time in office attacking trans kids, shielding bad cops, and cozying up to conspiracy theorists. He’s wildly out of step with the people he was elected to serve.”
Hutton’s extremist record includes:
•Co-authoring legislation to intimidate doctors who provide gender-affirming care to transgender youth.
•Voting to unlawfully fire Wisconsin’s top elections official based on 2020 election lies—and embracing leading election deniers.
•Authoring bills to block independent investigations of police shootings, undermining public accountability.
