Wolf River Community Bank: Leadership on the move: Wolf River Community Bank shares promotion, regional honor & statewide board appointment

Greenville, WI (April 2, 2026): Wolf River Community Bank is pleased to announce several recent leadership milestones within its organization.

Insight Publications has named Miranda Schultz, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operations Officer of Wolf River Community Bank to its 2026 40 Under 40 class — an annual award recognizing young professionals who are driving innovation and shaping the future of Northeast Wisconsin.

Schultz is one of 40 honorees selected from more than 120 nominations submitted from across the 18-county region. A selection committee, including past 40 Under 40 honorees and members of Insight’s editorial team, evaluated nominees on their professional achievements, leadership and civic involvement.

Schultz oversees the bank’s Retail, Deposit Operations, Electronic Banking, and Accounting departments. Since joining Wolf River Community Bank, she has played a key role in strengthening the bank’s systems, culture, and overall efficiency. Schultz successfully led a seamless core system transition, helped build and expand the electronic banking team, and introduced employee‑driven programs such as charitable giving, volunteer time off, and “dress for your day.” Her leadership has supported nearly double total asset growth during a challenging economic period.

The 2026 40 Under 40 class will be featured in the June issue of Insight on Business magazine and celebrated at an awards event Thursday, May 28, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Appleton Flight Center. Joe Peikert, CEO of Wolf River Community Bank, has been named Board Chair of the Wisconsin Bankers Association (WBA). Peikert previously served as Vice Chair, and this appointment reflects both his extensive experience and steadfast commitment to Wisconsin’s banking community.

The Wisconsin Bankers Association serves as the unified voice for nearly 280 banks across the state, advocating on behalf of the industry, providing education, and supporting institutions as they serve their customers and communities. WBA is the state’s largest financial industry trade association.

In his new role, Joe brings decades of experienced leadership, a deep commitment to community banking, and strong dedication to industry advocacy at the state level.

Joe’s board appointment will help ensure that the perspectives of Northeast Wisconsin and the Greater Fox Valley’s banking communities are well represented throughout the state.

Julia Treadwell has been promoted to Retail Banking Manager for the bank’s Hortonville branch. Previously serving as a Universal Banker, Julia distinguished herself as a strong leader within the retail team, recognized for her extensive branch knowledge and her willingness to serve as a trusted resource for both colleagues and customers.

Treadwell has played a key role in driving growth initiatives, including the expansion of the bank’s deposit portfolio and IRA programs. Her results driven mindset and collaborative leadership style led to her selection for this role.

“Exciting things are happening here at the bank. These recognitions reflect the depth of leadership and talent across our organization and our commitment to developing leaders at every stage of their careers,” said Jason Bloxham, President of Wolf River Community Bank. “Julia’s promotion is a testament to the meaningful impact she has made on our customers, colleagues, and community. Miranda’s selection to Insight’s 40 Under 40 list recognizes her exceptional leadership, strategic vision, and the lasting influence she has had on our culture and growth. And Joe’s appointment as Chair of the Wisconsin Bankers Association is both an incredible personal achievement and a source of pride for our bank, ensuring our industry is well-represented at the state level. Together, these milestones speak to the values, culture, and leadership that continue to drive Wolf River Community Bank forward.”
