Wisconsin Safety Council Announces Winners of Annual Workplace Safety Awards
MADISON – Wisconsin Safety Council – the state’s leading provider of safety training – announced the winners of the organization’s 32nd annual Workplace Safety Awards on Monday. The program, sponsored by Wisconsin’s Department of Workforce Development and M3 Insurance, recognizes organizations across Wisconsin for outstanding achievement and excellence in workplace safety, health, and injury prevention.
Each year, the Workplace Safety Awards honor employers who demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety. This year’s award recipients represent a wide range of industries, company sizes, and communities, all united by their dedication to keeping employees safe on the job.
“These employers set the standard for workplace safety in Wisconsin,” said Wisconsin Safety Council Executive Director Aaron Huebner. “Through proactive leadership, employee engagement, continuous improvement, and more, this year’s winners are making a real difference in the lives of their workers and our state’s culture of safety.”

Award recipients were evaluated by a panel of independent safety, health and insurance professionals based on company safety records, training programs, safety and health leadership, and other accomplishments. The awards were distributed based on company size in three categories: Manufacturing; Agriculture, Transportation, Utilities & Other; and Construction.
“The nine companies receiving a Wisconsin Workplace Safety Award stand as shining examples of dedication and excellence in safety.” said DWD Secretary Amy Pechacek. “Their unwavering commitment to protecting the wellbeing of their employees not only sets the standard for workplaces across the state but also embodies what it means to prioritize health and safety in every aspect of their operations. Together, they are setting the standard of how to keep Wisconsin workers safe.”

The awards will be presented to representatives from each of the companies at the Wisconsin Safety Council’s Annual Conference, held April 13-15 in the Wisconsin Dells.
