Kenosha, Wis. – Uline, North America’s leading distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging is looking for bright candidates for its year-long Business Development Program, a unique early career opportunity designed to help recent graduates transition from college into full-time corporate careers while learning the fundamentals of the business.
Uline’s Business Development Program offers a compelling pathway for early-career talent to live and work locally while gaining hands-on experience, mentorship and exposure to multiple areas of the business. Participants are full-time Uline employees from day one, working onsite before transitioning into permanent corporate roles upon program completion.
Program participants receive industry-leading pay and benefits, including comprehensive health coverage, a 401(k) with a 6% company match beginning immediately, tuition reimbursement for continuing education, and access to on-site amenities that support health and wellness.
“Early career professionals are looking for more than a job; they want development and the chance to explore multiple opportunities,” says Witney Rightler, Sr. HR Manager. “Our program is intentionally designed to provide real-world experience that helps participants build confidence, discover their strengths and launch long-term careers at Uline.”
The immersive program allows participants to gain skills and expand their business acumen while learning Uline’s core values and customer-first approach. Participants begin their journey in Customer Support, the heartbeat of Uline’s legendary service, where they develop their communication, problem-solving and product expertise through positive customer interactions before moving into a role aligned with their skills and interests.
“Customer Service is not just taking phone calls, it’s problem solving and serving as an advisor to our customers,” says Dime Rasch, Sr. Customer Service Manager. “Our Business Development Program participants gain a strong foundation in how we support customers while discovering where their strengths and interests align.”
For many graduates, the program serves as a launchpad into long-term careers at Uline.
“The Business Development Program gave me the chance to explore different areas of the company while learning from experienced leaders,” says Ted Miller, a program graduate now working as a Corporate Operations Analyst. “It helped me find my fit and gave me the confidence to take the next step in my career.”
In addition to the Business Development Program, Uline offers several other development pathways, including its Supply Chain Rotational Program, Customer Service Leadership Trainee Program, Warehouse Management Training Program, Corporate Analyst Rotational Program and Finance Leadership Trainee Program – further supporting recent graduates as they build long-term careers across the company.
