Waukesha, Wis. (February 4, 2026) – OwnersEdge, a 100% employee-owned ESOP holding company that invests in and builds sustainable businesses throughout the Midwest, has announced two new presidents for its operating companies. Katie Miner has been named president of BAYCOM, a leading provider of mission-critical communication and security solutions, and Blake Consdorf has been hired as president of QComp Technologies, a leader in robotic automation and complex material handling solutions.
The appointments reflect OwnersEdge’s continued focus on building an exceptional executive team and placing proven leaders where they can have the greatest impact across the organization. BAYCOM and QComp are both 100% employee-owned ESOP companies within the five-company OwnersEdge portfolio that is led by executives grounded in a people-first mindset and shared core values.
As OwnersEdge continues to scale, ensuring each operating company has strong, accountable executive leadership in place is critical to long-term success.
Katie Miner Moves to BAYCOM
Miner’s appointment underscores OwnersEdge’s commitment to developing and placing trusted leaders who bring both deep business understanding and cultural alignment to their roles. Her new position is a strategic decision to directly support BAYCOM’s continued growth and increased autonomy within the OwnersEdge portfolio.
Miner was previously president of QComp and, prior to that, supported BAYCOM for several years following its acquisition by OwnersEdge. Her career path reflects an intentional approach across the portfolio to identify great leaders, invest in their development, and retain top talent over a long-time horizon.
“Katie is a proven leader who knows BAYCOM inside and out,” said Rob Dillon, CEO of OwnersEdge. “She has a unique ability to authentically connect with people while driving accountability at every level of an organization. As BAYCOM continues to grow, it needs a leader who can drive operational efficiency while preserving the differentiated sales and service experience customers have come to expect. Katie is unequivocally that leader.”
With locations throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois, BAYCOM has been working with police, firefighter, EMS, and other public safety organizations since 1956. The company has grown significantly the past five years, adding nearly 3,000 new customers, including schools, healthcare institutions, manufacturers, construction companies, and other businesses.
“I’m honored to step into this role at BAYCOM,” said Miner. “This team does critical work, and every interaction matters. My focus is on supporting our people and ensuring we continue to show up for our customers with the reliability and responsiveness they expect.”
Blake Consdorf Joins QComp Technologies
Alongside Miner’s move to BAYCOM, OwnersEdge announced the hiring of Blake Consdorf as president of QComp Technologies, further strengthening executive leadership across its portfolio.
Consdorf served on QComp’s advisory board for two years and now takes the helm as an employee-owner, reinforcing the company’s commitment to leadership continuity, engineering excellence, and long-term customer value.
Consdorf was previously CEO of InCompass, based in Maple Grove, Minn., and brings three decades of experience across automation, robotics, engineering, operations, and sales. His appointment reflects a deliberate transition from strategic advisory guidance to hands-on leadership at a pivotal stage in QComp’s growth.
“Blake is a disciplined operator with deep automation experience and the kind of principled leadership that builds strong teams,” said Dillon. “He’s a great fit for QComp’s culture, and he understands the responsibility that comes with being employee-owned. With Blake leading QComp, we will continue to grow by staying customer-focused and committed to developing our people. His appointment underscores our commitment to placing proven leaders in every business across the OwnersEdge portfolio.”
Having worked closely with QComp’s leadership team as an advisory board member, Consdorf saw firsthand the strength of the organization and its potential.
“What drew me to this role were the people, the culture, and the values,” said Consdorf. “There is something very special about QComp and OwnersEdge. Being part of a 100% employee-owned company where we’re truly ‘in this together’ creates a deeper level of commitment and a longer-term mindset. You feel that responsibility every day.”
OwnersEdge ESOP Model
For business owners planning for succession, OwnersEdge has created a ready-made ESOP model that’s fundamentally different from traditional private equity buyers and ESOP holding companies. The OwnersEdge model removes complexity for sellers while creating long-term wealth-building opportunities for their employees and a meaningful pathway to their American dream.
Equally important, OwnersEdge has become a place where seasoned leaders and emerging executives can build meaningful, long-term careers, working alongside strong leadership teams and employee owners who are invested in the same future.
BAYCOM joined the OwnersEdge portfolio in 2016 and QComp joined in 2018.
