Oshkosh Chamber: Welcomes two new team members

The Oshkosh Chamber is pleased to announce the addition of two new professionals to its team, reinforcing the Oshkosh Chamber’s ability to serve members, enhance engagement, and advance economic growth throughout the Oshkosh community.

Marlayna Gonnering has joined the Oshkosh Chamber as the Member Engagement and Events Coordinator. Originally from the Fox Valley, Gonnering attended the Winneconne School District and earned a degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point, graduating in just three and a half years. While at UW–Stevens Point, she was also a member of the women’s golf team, balancing academic achievement with collegiate athletics.

In her new role, Gonnering is excited to bring her passion for community connection and engagement to the Chamber. She will play a key role in strengthening relationships with members, enhancing the Chamber’s events and programs, and ensuring members feel connected, supported, and valued. Gonnering will also direct the Propel Oshkosh Young Professionals program. Propel has recently undergone a rebrand/refresh as the program administration was brought back into the Oshkosh Chamber and is growing in membership and excitement as Oshkosh Young Professionals and businesses alike are eager to get involved.

Gonnering’s background in marketing and engagement will help elevate member experiences and increase participation across Chamber initiatives.

The Oshkosh Chamber has also recently hired Josh Koteski as Economic Development Director. With 20 years of experience in business operations and management, Koteski brings a practical, results-driven perspective to support business success and community growth. A lifelong Oshkosh resident with strong ties to the community, he is deeply committed to strengthening Oshkosh’s economic landscape and fostering opportunities for local employers, residents, and entrepreneurs.

In this role, Koteski will continue to execute Oshkosh Chamber’s economic development program, work closely with partners and stakeholders, and help position Oshkosh for long-term, sustainable growth. His experience and local insight will further enhance the Oshkosh Chamber’s ability to advocate for businesses and support Oshkosh’s business development initiatives.

“These staff additions reflect our continued investment in delivering value to our members. By strengthening our focus on engagement, events, and economic development, we are better equipped to provide meaningful resources, build strong relationships, and support a thriving business community,” said Oshkosh Chamber President & CEO Rob Kleman.
