(Oconomowoc, Wis.) MyPath, a provider of specialized education, therapeutic and community support services for high need individuals in Wisconsin and Indiana, announced today that Dorothy Buckhanan Wilson has officially assumed the role of President and sole Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant leadership milestone as the organization enters a new chapter of focused growth and strategic execution.
Dorothy steps fully into the role following a six-month shared CEO transition period with Terry Leahy. Terry will continue to support MyPath as Executive Chairman, serving in an advisory role focused on public policy and strategic matters.
“Dorothy’s leadership reflects a deep commitment to mission, people, and disciplined execution,” said Terry Leahy. “She is well positioned to lead MyPath into its next phase while honoring the values that have shaped our success.”
A Focused Transition and Clear Direction
As MyPath begins this next chapter, organizational leadership emphasizes stability, clarity, and forward momentum. The transition is not one of disruption, but of focus—anchored in discipline, accountability, and purpose.
MyPath enters 2026 with a strong five-year action plan in place. The first year of this plan centers on execution: delivering measurable results, managing resources responsibly, remaining grounded in the organization’s mission, and preparing thoughtfully for sustainable growth.
Launch of Journey to 2030
As President and CEO, Dorothy is leading MyPath through the launch of Journey to 2030, the organization’s five-year strategic vision. This bold, forward-looking plan reflects MyPath’s commitment to innovation, compassion, and excellence across all areas of service and support.
Journey to 2030 represents more than organizational growth. It signals a transformation in how MyPath delivers care, supports employee-owners, and helps shape the future of the human services industry. Grounded in collaboration, resilience, and purpose, the vision is closely aligned with the values that define MyPath.
A video introducing Journey to 2030 is available to employee-owners through the organization’s internal platform, and all team members are encouraged to engage with the vision and explore how their roles contribute to its success.
Leadership Grounded in Integrity and People
Dorothy’s leadership philosophy emphasizes listening, learning, and engagement across the organization. MyPath employee-owners can expect regular communication, clear priorities, and a leadership approach rooted in clarity, accountability, and respect.
In a rapidly evolving environment, Dorothy consistently highlights MyPath’s people as its greatest strength—recognizing the passion, dedication, and commitment of employee-owners as the foundation of the organization’s impact and success.
