MILWAUKEE (June 30, 2026) – Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) unveiled newly branded Make-A-Wish Kids Zones, highlighting a partnership between Make-A-Wish Wisconsin and Green Bay Packers Give Back. The Make-A-Wish Kids Zones, located on Concourses C and D, originally opened in 2025 following a remodel designed to create a refreshed and engaging play area for young travelers.

This new branding further celebrates the mission of Make-A-Wish Wisconsin as it continues working to bring hope and joy to children facing critical illnesses. 75% of Make-A-Wish Wisconsin wishes involve air travel, and many of those families fly out of MKE. Green Bay Packers Give Back are long-time Make-A-Wish champions and are proud to partner with Make-A-Wish Wisconsin in sponsoring the two Kids Zones at MKE Airport.
“This partnership reflects our continued commitment to supporting organizations that make a meaningful difference in our community,” said Airport Director Brian Dranzik. “The Make-A-Wish Kids Zones have been a wonderful addition to the airport experience for traveling families, and we’re proud to further showcase the incredible work of Make-A-Wish Wisconsin through these newly branded spaces.”
The enhanced Kids Zones feature updated signage and branding that highlight the impact of wishes granted to children and families across Wisconsin. The project builds on MKE’s ongoing efforts to create a welcoming, family-friendly travel experience while supporting organizations that strengthen communities throughout Milwaukee County and the state of Wisconsin.
Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport offers nonstop flights to 30+ destinations coast-to-coast, and more than 200 international destinations are available with one easy connection. MKE is served by Alaska, American, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest, Sun Country, and United. The complete list of nonstop cities can be found at flymke.com.
MKE is owned by Milwaukee County and operated by the Department of Transportation, Airport Division, under the policy direction of the Milwaukee County Executive and the County Board of Supervisors. The Airport is entirely funded by user fees; no property tax dollars are used for the Airport’s capital improvements or for its day-to-day operation.
