Leadership & Personnel Updates
Michael Best Strategies is pleased to announce that Bill McCoshen will serve on the Michael Best Strategies Board of Advisors. McCoshen has been an integral member of the Michael Best Strategies team, serving as a Partner since 2021 and bringing deep expertise in Wisconsin and national politics and business leadership. Prior to his time with Michael Best Strategies, McCoshen was Managing Partner at Capitol Consultants, Inc. for 23 years and previously served as Secretary of Commerce and a Chief of Staff in Governor Tommy Thompson’s Administration. He is also Founder and President of the Janesville Jets, a junior hockey team in the North American Hockey League. McCoshen will continue to drive business development for both Michael Best and Michael Best Strategies, in addition to his ongoing contributions to the Wisconsin Government Relations and Corporate Advisory teams.

Michael Best Strategies also welcomes Nathan Craft as Principal and Director of Strategic Communications. Craft most recently served as Senior Manager of Marketing & Communications at Michael Best. Previously, Craft managed global public affairs initiatives at SC Johnson, where he developed and implemented programs to enhance the multinational consumer product goods company’s reputation and positioning among internal and external audiences. Prior, he served in a variety of communications and policy roles in Governor Scott Walker’s political and Administration teams. With a decade of experience in strategic communications and corporate affairs—including executive communications, crisis communications, media relations, and reputation management—Craft will advise clients across industries and serve on the leadership team at Michael Best Strategies.
