APPLETON, Wis. [March 4, 2026] — McCarty Law LLP, a top law firm in Northeast Wisconsin, is proud to announce that attorney Jon Fischer has been named to the Insight on Business 40 Under 40 list. This award honors young professionals across Northeast Wisconsin who have made a significant impact on their communities and industry.

Fischer joined McCarty in 2013 after earning his law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School. He specializes in estate planning, probate, Medicaid and elder law, as well as special needs planning. He is a certified Advanced Care Planning facilitator, a credential earned through the Fox Valley Advance Care Planning Partnership in collaboration with Community Care and Bellin Health.
Complementing his law practice, Fischer serves as the president-elect of the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Elder and Special Needs Law Section, and is an active member of several organizations, including the Fox Valley Estate Planning Council and the Wisconsin chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (WiNAELA). Additionally, he serves as a director for Wispact, a nonprofit organization that facilitates special needs trusts to people with disabilities.

Selected from a pool of over 100 applicants by a panel of local professionals, Fischer and the other 40 Under the 40 recipients will be featured in a special section within the June issue of Insight on Business and honored at the 40 Under 40 event on May 28 at the Appleton Flight Center.
