Marcus & Millichap: Arranges $2.7M sale of skilled nursing facility and rehabilitation center in Stevens Point, Wisconsin 

STEVENS POINT, Wis., Feb. 19, 2026 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of Portage County Health Care Center, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center located in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The property sold for $2.7 million. 

“The buyer has committed to investing additional capital improvements above and beyond the purchase price,” said Ray Giannini, senior managing director investments. “The facility will continue operating as a skilled nursing center, and with the buyer’s planned investment and favorable performance trends across the market, we expect the property to remain well positioned for long-term success.” 

Giannini, a Seniors Housing investment specialist with The Giannini Group at Marcus & Millichap’s Seniors Housing Division in the Milwaukee office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, Portage County, and procured the buyer. 

Portage County Health Care Center is situated on 16 acres at 825 Whiting Ave. The 48-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility encompasses 81,562 square feet and provides inpatient and outpatient services, including physical, occupational and speech therapy. Originally built in 1965, the property was expanded with additions in 1985 and 1994.
