SHOREWOOD, WI (January 5, 2026) — MalamaDoe – A Coworking Community for Women announces a community conversation on health insurance in America with Bob Devita entitled “A Look Back and A Look Ahead.” The event will take place on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 PM at MalamaDoe in Shorewood, Wisconsin.
This educational and discussion-based event is designed for women entrepreneurs, small business owners, freelancers, consultants, and independent professionals who are navigating rising healthcare costs, limited insurance options, and barriers to affordable health insurance outside of traditional employment.
Come and join Bob Devita
Bob Devita brings decades of experience in healthcare leadership, education, and entrepreneurship. He is a member of the teaching faculty at UWM’s Sheldon B. Lubar College of Business and a leader of the Health Care Leadership curriculum at UWM. He earned his MBA from Lubar and completed a fellowship at Georgetown University.
Devita is a former healthcare executive at Wheaton Franciscan Health Care, Ministry Health Care (now Ascension Wisconsin), and Marshfield Clinic. He is also a Milwaukee-based entrepreneur and the Co-Founder and founding CEO of Common Ground Healthcare.
Conversation Topics Will Include:
