M3: Matt Mauthe elected to board of directors

MADISON, WI – Matt Mauthe, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Illuminus, was recently elected to the M3 Board of Directors. This appointment was approved on February 17, 2026, at the annual M3 Shareholder Meeting.

Mauthe fills a seat recently vacated by Hector Colon, president and CEO of Lutheran Social Services of WI and Upper MI, who had eight years of distinguished service on the M3 board, beginning in February 2018.

As CEO of Illuminus, Mauthe leads with a deep commitment to the organization’s mission of promoting the health and well-being of every individual served. His leadership is guided by a clear vision: “to meet the evolving needs of older adults today while shaping innovative models of care
or the future”.

For more than two decades, Mauthe has leveraged his blend of operational excellence, entrepreneurial vision, and mission-driven leadership to elevate and disrupt traditional senior living and aging services.

Mauthe earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2005. He serves on the advisory board for the Center for Health Administration and Aging Services Excellence and received the Distinguished Alumni Award in recognition of his ongoing contributions to the field of healthcare administration. He is also deeply invested in his community and actively supports regional growth and leadership development.
