Middleton, WI — Kylee’s Gift Cottage is proud to announce the return of its annual community initiative, the Second Annual Kylee’s Sock Drive, benefiting WayForward Resources in Middleton. Building on the success of last year’s program, the sock drive aims to provide essential warmth and dignity to local individuals and families experiencing housing insecurity.
Through this partnership, customers are invited to purchase men’s and/or women’s socks, with an additional pair donated directly to WayForward Resources. The initiative makes it easy for shoppers to give back while supporting a local nonprofit and a locally owned small business.
WayForward Resources is a vital support system in the Middleton area, offering critical services including a food pantry, housing assistance, and clothing support. Their mission brings the community together to create food and housing security through action and advocacy.
“Our first sock drive showed us just how generous and caring this community truly is,” said Colin Murray, owner of Kylee’s Gift Cottage. “Year two is about building on that momentum. A simple item like a pair of socks can offer comfort, dignity, and warmth—and when we come together, those small actions create a powerful impact.”
How It Works
For every pair of men’s or women’s socks purchased in-store, one pair is donated directly to WayForward Resources. Customers are encouraged to buy for themselves, family, and friends the more you purchase, the more pairs are donated to those in need.
The Second Annual Kylee’s Sock Drive runs now through February 15, 2026, with all donated socks supporting WayForward’s essential programs.
